After doing so many large-scale Christmas decor projects, it’s always refreshing to get back to “reality” and decorate a private residence. Nothing too huge. Nothing over-the-top. Just pretty decorations appropriate for the home. And that’s one less task for the family to deal with during this hectic holiday season.
The chandelier in the Dining Room is a wonderful focal point. Adorned with chartreuse amaryllis, pewter glittered allium, ribbons & ornaments. All beautiful in its own right… but it was really the shadows on the ceiling that made the most dramatic impact.
The doorways were flanked with fresh evergreen garlands and colorful festoons & ribbons which maintained the color-theme of the room.
The main stairway was decorated with a classic swag of evergreen garland and deep burgundy ribbons.
The formal Living Room hosted a thematic Christmas Tree, as well as a formal twist on the fireplace mantle with evergreen, magnolia branches and golden ribbons cascading on both ends.
