Converting a student athletic facility into a quiet sanctuary is always a challenge. With students playing basketball right on the other side of the drawn curtain, the crew began installation in oversized gymnasium.
Plenty of lighting, sound & specialty drapery went up to create the environment.
When the lighting was focused, and the candles lit, the transformation was quite magical. Quite a beautiful altar space for the Taize Monks. Sure, the candles are LED powered for safety, but they still give a beautiful flickering glow. With the mood set, the final pictures & icons were placed and everything was ready for this very special religious event.
