White walls. White drapes. No problem.
A large white “box” of a room can easily be transformed into a beautiful wedding reception. Just add some design, flowers & dramatic uplighting. With so much natural light coming into the room, the specialty lighting gradually becomes more dramatic as the sun goes down… and party gets going!
The Bride’s favorite colors & flowers were used to create the centerpieces throughout the event. Statuesque arrangements floating above the tabletops. Clustered trios of flowers in clear glass vases with three elevated floating candles. Romantic floral accents throughout the reception.
The bridal bouquet was a classic collection of white calla lilies wrapped in a string of rosary beads. The Bridesmaids’ bouquets were an eclectic collection of soft pastel colors and intriguing textures.
With a sleek, contemporary venue like the Chicago Illuminating Company, it’s always fun to throw in a bit of unexpected whimsy… like rough-hewn, wooden farm tables for the formal wedding event.
