Happy Holidays at The Zoo

The Lion House at the Lincoln Park Zoo has never been so frozen cold! With the Zoo’s penguins on “vacation” while their habitat is being renovated, they decided to come back for a special holiday visit. And they brought their polar bear friends with them. As part of ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo, four of the animal house interiors are decorated for the holidays. Guests who entered then Kovler Lion House were greeted with a frozen environment as they waited for their chance to sit with Santa. penguins & polar bears 2penguins & polar bears 5 penguins & polar bears 1 As guests came into the Reptile & Small Mammal House, the resident gecko & sand fox were decked out in their finest festive attire… while it snowed inside! gecko sand fox 1 In the Helen Brach Primate House, the dark ceilings & hallways were illuminated with oversized holiday decor panels.
